Dr. Fabio Rizzolo is a European Patent Attorney trainee at CH Kilger Anwaltspartnerschaft mbB. His main technical areas of expertise are in the fields of pharmacology and peptide chemistry. During his Ph.D., Dr. Rizzolo’s research was focused on the synthesis of peptide antibiotics and on the analysis of their behaviour in biomimetic membrane systems. As a postdoctoral fellow, first at the University of Florence and then at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, he worked, among others, on the synthesis and characterization of peptides to be used in immunoassays for the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases. He further took part in a research project involving the synthesis of antigenic peptides for the development of a multiple sclerosis vaccine. Dr. Rizzolo has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2014.
