INNOVATORS AND GOVERNMENTS MEET IN DUBAI FOR SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUELS – ICAO 3

Well over a hundred countries and one thousand delegates are convening in Dubai this week to firm up their collective commitments to boost global aviation’s transition towards Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), Lower Carbon Aviation Fuels (LCAF), and other cleaner energy sources.

CH KILGER is attending the conference in an effort to assist innovators in the field to better accomplish their goals by global protection of their intellectual property rights. “We feel that our efforts need to actively expand into the field of sustainable energy. It is a contribution we as a firm can make to stopping climate change” says Dr. Christian Kilger a partner in the firm.

Aviation Fuel is responsible for 2% of carbon emission per year. Sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) are defined as renewable or waste-derived aviation fuels that meets sustainability criteria. “We are meeting inventors with a real cause and that is very satisfying” says Maria Eugenia Marazzi a partner in the firm.

SAF made from renewable biomass and waste resources have the potential to deliver the performance of petroleum-based jet fuel but with a fraction of its carbon footprint, giving airlines solid footing for decoupling greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from flight.
