Dr. Jessica Lukassen

• Doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg, Germany

Dr. Lukassen is a European Patent Attorney trainee at CH Kilger Anwaltspartnerschaft mbB. Her main technical areas of expertise are in the fields of cancer biology and genetic screens. During her doctorate, Dr. Lukassen’s research was focused on the identification of transcriptional regulators of ribosome biogenesis through the use of genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 screens. She further gathered experience in industrial research and development with a focus on the engineering of therapeutic antibodies during a six-monthly internship at Roche Glycart AG.
