Dr. Claudia Genger is a trainee at CH Kilger Anwaltspartnerschaft mbB, specialising in Biology and Medical Biology. During her Ph.D., she investigated rheumatoid arthritis which is an inflammatory, autoimmune condition causing joint pain but also affecting organs. She developed a scoring system for recognition of early rheumatoid arthritis onset via application of pre-clinical contrast agents in the near infrared region. Through the use of novel pre-clinical contrast agents and advanced in vivo imaging techniques, this study aids the early detection of rheumatoid arthritis in the clinical area.
